WELCOME TO THE CATHEDRAL PARISH OF SAINT PATRICK
The Cathedral of Saint Patrick has been a beacon of faith in the Charlotte community for close to 70 years. Presently there are over 1,300 families registered at The Cathedral of Saint Patrick and growing. The strength of our faith and our commitment to authentic Catholic Tradition, values, and teaching will ensure that this parish will continue to reflect God’s endless love, grace, mercy and goodness for years to come.
The members of Saint Patrick Cathedral, through the mercy of God the Father, the grace of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, seek to grow continually in knowledge of and love for God. We strive to enable ongoing conversion to Christ of our adults, to inspire faith in our children, and to be witnesses of His love in the greater community. WELCOME HOME
Our Catholic faith is the largest Christian family in the world. Our Church is a vibrant and growing family, but we miss our brothers and sisters who have not been to Mass lately. God loves you so much that He will not stop searching for you, reaching out to you, seeking you. Jesus wants to invite you back into His big, warm and loving Catholic family in the Church He founded 2,000 years ago. He’s calling you home, but the choice is yours. For information on how you can rejoin the family, go to CATHOLICS COME HOME today. We are a family. We’ve missed you. Welcome home!
LEARN ABOUT THE NEW ROMAN MISSAL New Words. Deeper Meaning. The Same Mass.
The Holy See has approved the new English translation of the Roman Missal. The new texts started the First Sunday of Advent 2011. The Mass is our central act of faith. Therefore, it is incumbent upon each of us to continually renew our knowledge of our Catholic faith and seek to better understand its richness and beauty. Now is the time to seize the opportunity given to us for all Catholics in the United States to deepen, nurture, and celebrate our faith through the renewal of our worship and the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy.
