When he was about to celebrate with his disciples the Passover meal in which he instituted the sacrifice of his Body and Blood, Christ the Lord gave instructions that a large furnished room should be prepared (Luke 22:12).
At the Last Supper our Savior instituted the Eucharistic Sacrifice of his Body and Blood, by which he would perpetuate the Sacrifice of the Cross throughout the centuries until he should come again, thus entrusting to the Church, his beloved Bride, the memorial of his death and resurrection (Preamble of the General Instruction).
8:00 a.m. Mass Perfect for those who would like to attend church as a family before Sunday school classes begin. Sacred music is led by an organist and cantor. 11:00 a.m. Mass This solemn Mass is often celebrated by our bishop. The beauty of this worship service is assisted by the St. Patrick's Cathedral Choir under the direction of our music director, Dr. Larry Stratemeyer.
12:30 p.m. Mass This Mass is popular with those who are beginning the day late or who love attending a service that is not particularly crowded. Those who are preparing to enter the Catholic Church celebrate their rites at this
