Boy Scout Ministry

The Cathedral of Saint Patrick is home to Boy Scout Troop 9, which has been serving youth from the parish and community since 1937. Boy Scouting is a 100-year old program proven to help boys 11-17 years old develop character, self-discipline, leadership skills and personal fitness while having fun tackling adventures with their fellow scouts. Troop 9 meets generally three Sunday evenings a month at the Cathedral from mid-August to mid-June and has camping trips or other outdoor activities once a month. Boys ages 10-17, who have earned the Arrow of Light Award, are welcome to join the troop.

If you are interested in joining Boy Scout Troop 9, please complete the online form below. Someone from the ministry will contact you about your interest. You may also contact the parish office directly at (704) 334-2283. The parish office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
